ICF-DN064 - 'Atlas' Dreadnought PREVIEW

EDIT 2015-05-19: Not very much visual difference. The bridge and front of the ship got some more details, most of the difference happened on the inside (many unused faces inside).

A preview of a new Dreadnought - the Atlas. Mainly inspired by the Yamato, from the series Uchū Senkan Yamato (Space Battleship Yamato), but with my own impressions.

The DN064 Viper-class Dreadnought is one of the most respected in the ICF fleet. Equipped with the high grade Titanium-70CA armor and force-field generators, these ships are designed to be in the middle of the fight. Main armament is two Capital Ship-class Plasma Cannon, capable of destroying almost anything standing in its way.

Heat generated from the main Plasma Cannon is dissipated through the two large cooling towers behind the bridge section. They are also used as cooling for various other parts when the main cannon is not used. In battle, the towers are retracted to be able to withstand damage a lot better.
